The slow magic doesnt do shit..

Careful with the coasters (beer mats)! They're glitched and some give you the exact opposite of what they claim. There's a mod to correct that on Nexus, hopefully the devs will patch this one soon. They're basically equivalent to bobbleheads I think.

Thameshaven and the market are really confusing and some of the doors blend in to the walls pretty well. It was kind of frustrating, but my very limited experience so far says that's not the norm. Quite a ways to go yet, but hoping that remains true. Keep calm and carry on!

5 year old vid but a brand new game to me. I knew NOTHING about this game but grabbed it on STEAM Summer Sale. I wanted something like Metro. Anyway, the very first time I got a close encounter with a horde was the very first time I found out there were hordes. I was checking out a train car stuck on a small bridge. Holy sht. One minute im minding my business and the next im running like a little girl. Too funny and hairs on my arm did stand up. The devs did a fantastic job with the AI.

This will be my first ever game within the franchise! The only other things I played that’s similar is Skyrim. I’m now aware that these two games are almost nowhere near similar, but still 😅 This video really helped! Can’t wait to play for the first time

At times I have to remind myself that this was an amateur project. During the ferryman mission I got Lost/stuck so many times. If it had been a AAA game I would have been demanding refunds. I got stuck in the water too. I died of radiation poisoning. In the end I managed it but only after two hours. I also find combat unbalanced. A Ladybug can kill you instantly while it takes 6 hits with a pistol to kill them.

If you scrap a weapon does it go into your arsenal or do you have to pick it up and drop it first?

If mushy peas is the only answer, I do *not* want to know what the question is! A little late, you may already know, but there's a mod to eliminate the balisong idle animation. You're probably not even using it now, but you certainly weren't the only one who didn't care for it. Keep in mind that Churchill is not marked essential, not sure if there's a mod for that.

I went in FC3 with Ripper, Bushman, RPG-7 and Z93 (not AMR) most of the time. I think I'll go with those in FC4 as well.

I prefer the other mod. For this one it's annoying that you don't know/can't tell, how far is your target. It was annoying in FC3 and it's the same story in FC4, for this sole reason.

I just played Skyrim and I loved it. So I decided to play Fallout 4, too. Good game, but I really hate limited carrying capacity. For me, it makes games very annoying. The developers put so many items in the game that you're supposed to take them all, and then they punish you by making you run very slowly or constantly having to manage your inventory. Are there any mods you can use to change this?

Tip ... if you want to move a little faster while ducking then hit the roll button it will give you a bit of speed and still keep you in stealth if you need to get up close behind the enemy fast to take then out .

If you don't know, you can find two proximity mines in Iron Butte at almost the same place, you go/drive to Iron Butte, then you find the farm and behind the Cattle enclosure at the rocky side and you need to climb up and go where you and Skizzo entered Iron Butte there you find the first proximity mine, the second is on the left side before you climb for the first proximity mine (or your left when you are at the farmers house and looking up at the rocky mountain) and you have to locate where the Historical Maker is there you find the second proximity mine. If you are crossing a small river or stream, but you have enemies after you, then try to rull before you enter river or stream up to your knees, in this you have a better chance to not getting stock-walking in the river or stream. And if you have enemies after you and you are standing on a high ground, then while you are running you push the role botton before you are at the edge, in this you don't get so much hurt, but befoe you try this, do it on lower highs, so you can remember what and when it is none hurtiable.

You'll be killing a lot of dogs, foxes and bugs so always pick up their meat and cook it up for healing, cooked food is the best and most readily available healing method for at least early to mid-game and possibly the entire game. Early game is an unforgiving bitch! Using VATS will help you save ammo unless you're a special forces crack shot.

It's tough early game, I'm still there myself. Guns and ammo are rare, so are stimpacks and radaway. It gets better from the snippets of playthroughs I've watched, but it's harsh early.

You are lucky your game is still running. It has taken me ages to get it running for ten minutes at a time without crashing. When it does run I have to run it on low graphics to keep my PC temps down.
